Today I found out that I am the smallest (extreme prem) surviving baby that Parklands has ever had...

Drive

I have been off the caffeine for 2 weeks now :) Daddy took us for a drive just to get out of the house because I don't go anywhere unless I have to, like to the doctor etc because it was suggested that I stay away from crowded places and sick people as much as possible, especially for the first 3 months - mommy and daddy are strict with this and don't even allow any visitors except for close family...

Synagis 2

I went to Parklands to get my second Synagis injection today... We saw Dr Roos there as well, he says I have grown so much :)

Today I had the last of my caffeine...none of my apnea monitors have alarmed...

I'm a survivor!

I went for my follow up hearing test.  I passed this time.  I have to go for another follow up in six months time!  I had a check up with Dr Egner today as well.  While we were waiting for Dr Egner we met a little girl, she is nearly 2 years old...she was also born at 26 weeks and weighed 580g...Dr Egner was happy with everything...I weigh 2,25 kg now...I am Dr Egner youngest surviving patient so far!  I will be getting stuff called Polycose added to my milk from now on to add calories.  I went to visit the NICU at Parklands :)

Tummy time

I love spending time on my tummy time pillow! I can hold my head up for quite a long time now :)
